Clergy Retreat

Our annual Clergy Retreat will take place from Thursday, March 27 at 11 a.m. - Friday, March 28, 2025 at 4 p.m.

This is a fairly unstructured retreat, allowing space for clergy to do what feels most refreshing and nourishing for them. Offered free of charge to participants, clergy in the Diocese of Maryland and the Diocese of Washington are invited to come to Claggett for a couple of days to rest and recharge.

Whether it is time spent in prayer in the Silo Chapel, walking the outdoor Labyrinth, exploring our hiking trails, reading a book, or enjoying the opportunity to nap, clergy in past years have enjoyed this opportunity for respite. Optional presentations about clergy compensation & contract negotiation and Claggett Programs will also take place during this retreat.

Lunch and Dinner on Thursday, along with Breakfast and Lunch on Friday, are provided in Claggett's Sugarloaf dining hall.
