The church has not always been a place where LGBTQ+ people feel welcome. At Claggett, we believe that every person is a beloved child of God, exactly as they are. Come experience the joy of camp with a community that supports you!

New in 2024, this special weekend will be packed full of special moments and meaningful discussion.

Discussion highlights include:

How can we be more supportive of our LGBTQ+ family members?
What does queer joy in the church look like?
What resources are there for our local LGBTQ+ communities?

We will also be engaging in classic camp fun such as hiking, campfires, friendship bracelets and more! Families of all shapes and sizes are welcome!

Claggett Camps use a “Tiered Pricing” system! Tiered pricing allows families to choose a contribution according to their ability. Each pricing tier entitles the camper to a full Claggett experience and there is no differentiation made in the program based on pricing tier. The tiered pricing model is a tool to extend our reach, create a diverse, Christ-centered community, and grow Claggett’s camp ministries for many years into the future.

Tiered pricing helps to make a quality camp experience possible for children from all economic backgrounds, by allowing families to pay what they are able and inviting those who can give more to support the bigger picture of camp operations to do so. It allows us to stretch scholarship funding further, bringing more young people the opportunity to have a life-changing week at Claggett.

Pricing for the weekend is as follows:

For the first two participants (adult and one other family member):

Subsidized Rate: $500
Direct Cost Rate: $650
True Cost Rate: $800

For each additional family member after the first two: $94

For Saturday partipation only: $50
